In a first for Trinity we hosted the band 'Track Dogs' for a live concert in November 2023. This was part of their launch tour for their New Album 'Blind Summits and Hidden Dips'. This was really well attended, in spite of the horrendous rains and flooding taking place in the area. It was a fantastic evening and one we hope to repeat again in the future. Alan (centres manager) is still smiling after getting a guest spot to play harmonica with them. This event was really well received by everyone who attended. Their merch stand was overrun with people wanting signed items and a chat with the band. Track Dogs really do mean it when they talk about their 'family' of fans and supporters. Special tribute being paid in our gig to a lady with a life ending condition who was able to meet with the band for a special meal and conversation in the afternoon before the gig. It is unusual to see this sort of genuine care and compassion for fans. The Band are Garret Wall, Howard Brown, Robbie K. Jones and Dave Mooney. They played a fantastic mix of songs covering traditional folk, americana, bluegrass and latino alongside their own creations. They play with an intensity and energy which is really difficult to get over in words and is not fully captured in their albums, which are a treat in their own right. There is only one thing for it.... You will just have to get a ticket and go see them live. Some photos of the event:
