Safeguarding and GDPR Statement


 
Trinity  United Church is committed to the safeguarding of all children, young people and vulnerable adults, creating a safe space in which to be a supportive and caring community for all, including survivors of abuse and those affected by abuse.
 
Trinity United Church  has a Safeguarding Policy for all those working with children and vulnerable adults. 
This is reviewed annually by the Church Executive Council. 
DBS checks are undertaken for those volunteers and paid staff who work directly with children and vulnerable adults.   
Safeguarding Training is provided to all who lead or help at groups or activities. 

Trinity United Church  follow the policy and practises of  the Methodist Church
and the United Reformed Church as a united church fellowship.
 
Trinity United Church comply with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Any personal information such as names, addresses and date of birth are stored securely
and will not be processed beyond what is necessary for pastoral care, DBS checks or safeguarding training.
